Building On A Legacy

Coming from a long line of tradespeople (including their father, a woodworker and residential contractor), Nolan and Brendan Brown, have construction in their blood.

Having grown up around job sites and helping build furniture with their father, both brothers have a love for hands on work and have each pursued careers in carpentry. Prior to founding Elmcraft, Brendan, a Red Seal carpenter, was a foreman for a custom home builder in Vancouver. Nolan, meanwhile, stayed in Montreal to study at the John Molson School of Business before working with a large commercial and residential contractor in Montreal.

With the two reunited back in the West Island of Montreal, they are following in their father’s footsteps building furniture and renovating homes.
